"The 17th Moscow International Photonics Exhibition - Laser and Optoelectronic World" will be held on March 28-31, 2023 at the Moscow Exhibition Center. The exhibition is co-sponsored by the Russian Laser Association and the Moscow Exhibition Center, it is the largest optoelectronic exhibition in Russia and the second largest in Europe, which has passed the UFI certification of International Exhibition Union. It is reported that the exhibition attracted enterprises from nearly 20 countries around the world and more than 7,000 professional audience to attend together. Nearly 30 forums, roundtable conference and professional seminars were held during the period. The Science and Technology Delegation of the Hubei Association for Science and Technology will be led by Zhou Dewen, Secretary of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the Hubei Association for Science and Technology, together with more than 20 representatives of industry associations and enterprises, to attend the "2023 (17th) Moscow International Photonic Exhibition” and the "13th China-Russia Laser Industry Forum", and a week-long exchange visit will be held in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities.

During the exhibition, the company focused on special optic fibers and optical device, high-end equipment, new materials, phase-change materials, battery testing systems and other series of product technologies and services, the square large-core fibers are launched on site, which attracted great attention from laser industry customers, who stopped to watch and ask questions.
YOEC square large-core fiber is a special structure of large-core laser energy transfer fiber, mainly used in laser high power transmission, homogenization and imaging, spectroscopy and other fields. The structure consists of the square high-purity synthetic quartz core layer, fluorine doped quartz cladding and coating, the typical NA values of the core and cladding are 0.12 and 0.22. Square optic fiber with large core diameter can significantly improve the coupling efficiency with semiconductor laser, and has excellent light spot homogenization effect and shaping function. It has strong advantages in the field of laser cleaning and laser beam shaping.
In addition for the new materials exhibited by YOEC, including low refractive index optic fiber coating, low refractive index optic fiber adhesive, light-curing optic fiber optical device adhesive, LED optic fiber coating, LED optic fiber coloring resin, etc., which have been favored by many distributors and optical cable factories. Since the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Russia has been subject to a series of escalating sanctions from Europe and the United States, and many Russian enterprises are about to run out of materials and are eager to find substitutes for products of Chinese enterprises.
During the exhibition, Dr. Lian Zhenggang spoke at the "13th China-Russia Laser Industry Forum" as a representative of the enterprise. Dr. Lian first showed the Russian participants the wonderful today of China's Optics Valley, her industrial strength and international, open and inclusive policy; next, he introduced the technology and industry development trends of special optic fiber; as an enterprise rooted in the Optics Valley, the vigorous development history, product advantages, creative ability and achievements of YOEC are inseparable from the cultivation of this hot land in the Optics Valley. Mr. Lian finally welcomed local enterprises to the Optics Valley for negotiation and local universities to China for communication and cooperation. The guests from all walks of life interacted frequently and the atmosphere was warm on site.

Since the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the Western countries have imposed unscrupulous sanctions on Russia, leaving the Russian economy in the quagmire. The Moscow Photonics Exhibition, Wuhan-China Optics Valley Laser Industry Association organized 15 Hubei laser enterprises and research institutions to display at the exhibition, and it is obvious that Russia urgently needs to buy Chinese laser intelligent manufacturing equipment to break the sanctions from Europe and the United States. In the face of the current international situation and the existing cooperation basis between China and Russia in Hubei Province, this trip to Russia will take the laser industry as the breakthrough point to create an ecosystem of cooperation with Russia and promote the in-depth cooperation between Hubei Province and Russia.
