The radar fuses world, and intelligence leads the future. From April 13 to 15, 2023, the 2023 10th World Radar Detection and Ranging Expo, jointly sponsored by the China Radio Detection and Ranging Industry Association, China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, and China Electronics Corporation, was held at the Beijing Shougang Exhibition Center.
Ms. Yu Xiaomeng, an expert in the materials field of YOEC Group led technical personnel from Yangtze Optical Thermal-control Technology Co., Ltd. (YOTT) and sales directors from various subsidiaries to attend this exhibition. The aim of attending this exhibition was to enhance communication and exchange with peers, actively explore the market in China, expand the company's publicity, and achieve win-win cooperation. At this industry event, YOTT take special optical devices, special optical fiber, phase-change cold plates, TR cold plates, and water cooling system principle prototypes, to show at booth 2B14-1. During the exhibition, Ms. Yu and other participating companies conducted in-depth communication and exchanges. Sales directors from various subsidiaries introduced the company's product usage and innovative research and development technologies to the guests in detail. Everyone had friendly discussions, exchanged business cards for future communication and cooperation. The TR phase-change cold plate and water cooling system principle prototypes at the exhibition attracted the attention of industry professionals who stopped to watch and discuss, and praised the quality of the products.
YOTT’s TR component, phase-change cold plate is the main heating component of phased array radar antennas, and the thermal control problem of phased array radar is mainly the thermal control problem of TR component. The design technology of being integrated with the structure and bracket is generally adopted, that is, the integration of structure and function. High enthalpy phase-change materials (PCM) can greatly reduce the maximum temperature of TR components and play a good protective role in electronic devices. Innovative processing, filling, and sealing technologies meet the requirements of structural strength for large-area thin-walled TR components. In addition, the other thermal control product components and thermal control PCM exhibited by the YOTT, including the average temperature composite phase-change cold plate, signal processing phase-change cold plate, solid-liquid PCM, and solid-solid PCM, have been inquired and favored by distributors and customers.
On August 25, 2021, under the leadership of the 35th Institute of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, the three parties: the 35th Institute of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, the School of Chemical Engineering of South China University of Technology and Wuhan Yangtze Optical Electronic Co., Ltd. jointly established the Thermal Control Technology Innovation Research and Development Center. Aiming at the development trend of thermal control, the center focuses on improving independent innovation capabilities, solving major problems in thermal control technology, and promoting high-quality development of thermal control technology. A development model, with leading universities including South China University of Technology as the driving force, the thermal control center as the research and development carrier, and YOTT as the main market developer, has been formed.
YOTT has advanced production capabilities for thermal control materials and integrated simulation design and processing technology for thermal control devices and thermal management systems. The company's products include high enthalpy solid-liquid PCM, high thermal conductivity solid-solid PCM, phase-change heat storage plates, and phase-change heat exchangers, which are stable in performance and leading in the industry. Currently, thermal control components and system design based on principles such as phase-change heat storage and rapid heat transfer have been widely applied in the aerospace field. YOTT has produced more than a thousand sets of phase-change thermal control components. In addition, YOTT conducted extensive basic research in areas such as jet cooling, active cooling, and boiling heat dissipation, thus deploying the design and research of micro-channel boiling heat dissipation in advance.
As the only national-level industry event in China, the World Radar Detection and Ranging Expo provided a platform for YOTT to showcase its products and engage in in-depth communication. During the exhibition, YOTT visited many old customers and also treated nearly a hundred visitors interested in the YOTT's products and technology, collecting a lot of high-quality potential customer information. The company obtained a lot at this exhibition and it was an important step in the implementation of the " diversity" development phase of the company.
