Recently, it was learned from the industry that the "Fiber Optic Gyroscope Sagnac Interference Coil Intelligent Test System" developed by YOEC was selected as the first round of the "Jinsui Award" for China's optoelectronic instrument brand list, fully demonstrating that the innovation and advancement of the company's batch intelligent test capability of optic fiber coils and optical modules has been certified as industry excellence, further promoting the localization process in the direction of testing instrumentation.

Scientific instruments are the “leader” and “cornerstone” of national innovation-driven development, and the “multiplier” and “booster” of economic development and industrial transformation and upgrading. After decades of unremitting pursuit and efforts, China's overall level of science and technology has increased significantly, some important areas have been among the world's advanced ranks, and some areas are changing from "follower" to "co-runner" and "leader".

In this context, in order to strengthen the integration of basic research, application development and technological innovation layout, promote the development of key core technology to break through the "stranglehold" technology, strengthen the core competitiveness of science and technology, make up shortcomings and strengthen capabilities in strategic must-have areas, the Chinese Society for Optical Engineering jointly launched the "Jinsui Award" for China's optoelectronic instrument brand list with a number of units, in response to the national calling and facing the major strategic needs of the country. The aim is to break the dilemma that China's high-end optoelectronic scientific instruments market has long been occupied by foreign imported brands. Chinese Society for Optical Engineering will focus on the selection of China's independent research and development, manufacturing, production of high-end optoelectronic instruments, to seize the strategic high point of science and technology, establish national brand confidence, show independent core competitiveness, and to develop domestic and foreign application markets to create opportunities, for the scientific instruments independently researched and developed by China. Besides, it aims to make a contribution to accelerating the cultivation and growth of dynamic "specialized, fined, peculiar and innovative" enterprises, and the creation of a new engine of high-quality development of independent high-end scientific instruments in China.

The event focused on seven types of products: measuring instruments, metrology instruments, analytical instruments, industrial automation instruments, environmental testing instruments, physical performance testing instruments and medical diagnostic instruments. Since its launch in June 2022, with the support of leaders at all levels and the joint efforts of the regional directors and members of the organizing committee, the evaluation activity has received a lot of attention and active participation from the national scientific instrument industry, domestic manufacturers and instrument users, and it lasted 4 months, and attracted a total of 223 units of relevant instruments to participate in the declaration, and a total of 131 projects were successfully selected for the next round of evaluation after strict review by the award office, with the selected list announced as follows:
